Jubilee Prayer
O God, our Father, we praise and thank You for giving us St. Arethas and Companions.

We ask You to bless us with the same faith and courage they had fifteen hundred years ago, to proclaim Your Good News.

Through the merits of their martyrdom, may all peoples see Jesus Christ in us, so that all may feel Your love and come to know You as God.
​
Protect and guide us. Listen to our prayers and send us the Holy Spirit that we, Your Church in the Arabian Peninsula, may always seek to do Your will, grow in faith, and be attentive to the needs of others.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through the intercession of Our Lady of Arabia. Amen.

Holy Year Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God,
guide your pilgrim people in the desert
by the prayers of Saint Arethas
and all the holy martyrs of Arabia.
Set our hearts on fire
with their steadfast faith and courageous love.
May we walk together with them
in the way of your Cross
and witness daily to your risen life.
Raise up a Church of saints
to be an instrument of reconciliation and peace
in these lands
made holy by their pure sacrifice. Amen.

St. Arethas Prayer for Peace
Merciful and Compassionate God,
You bestowed Saint Arethas with courage and strength to face the many obstacles his faith would require, especially in the extreme persecution. His wisdom and leadership were evident by his ability to be a peacemaker and worker for unity. However, he stood steadfast in faith and together with his people, endured martyrdom for the sake of the truth, proclaiming “that to die for Christ is to find life.”
May the intercession of Saint Arethas and his Companions give us the strength to work for unity and be peacemakers in our own time while never forsaking the truth and proclaiming our faith in Jesus Christ.

NOVENA TO ST. ARETHAS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
The nine-day novena to St. Arethas and Companions starts on October 15th and ends on the vigil of the Feast, October 23rd.
