Philippine Chapter

The Philippine Chapter is the first chapter of the Confraternity of St. Arethas and Companions to be established outside the Gulf region. This milestone highlights the invaluable contribution of the Filipino diaspora to the Church of Arabia and echoes Pope Francis’ affectionate description of migrant Filipinos as “smugglers of faith.”

By the unanimous agreement of its founding members, a seven-member Council has been elected to govern the Chapter’s spiritual, administrative, and apostolic activities in the Philippines. This ensures that all initiatives remain aligned with the core values and mission of the Confraternity.

Rooted in faith and service, the Philippine Chapter encourages individuals and communities to embrace the Confraternity’s mission. Its efforts aim to foster solidarity, deepen devotion, and keep alive the martyrdom legacy of St. Arethas and his Companions in a contemporary context.
